My Beliefs

  1. The Bible is the inspired word of God and is 100% true and without error (II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:21).
  2. There is only one true God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit – the triune God (John 10:36; 14:26; 20:21-22).
  3. The triune God has always existed and has created the universe apart from pre-existing materials and without any evolutionary process. (Genesis 1:1; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalms 102:25; Acts 14:15).
  4. The deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is equal with God the Father. He is worshiped as God and has created all things. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and now is at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18, 23; Luke 1:34-35).
  5. According to the Bible, mankind is sinful & fallen. Salvation is received through repentance of a sinful lifestyle toward God, and then by placing faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Only the Blood of Jesus Christ is accepted as payment for sins (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).
  6. Sanctification is the separation from all things evil and a life dedicated to God. Sanctification is learning to practice God’s biblical principles in your day-to-day life with the help of the Holy Spirit. Sanctification is a continuous process (Romans 6:1-11,13; 8:1-2,13; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12-13; I Peter 1:5).
  7. Water Baptism as a testimony of the new birth and commitment to Christ. It is symbolic of the believers death & resurrection in Christ (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).
  8. Holy Communion, The Lord’s Supper. (I Corinthians 11:26).
  9. The Second Coming of Christ and the bodily resurrection of the dead (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; I Corinthians 15:51-52).
  10. Jesus Christ will execute judgement on all persons: eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15, 21:8).
