Have you ever found yourself saying, “My social battery is drained,” or said, “I just don’t have the energy to go out,” or breathed out, “I just want to be alone.” Isolation can touch all of our lives. In this post, I dive into exploring isolation and talk about its psychological and demonic aspects. My focus is on how exorcism and counseling can restore you toward reconnection and joy.
The Many Shades of Isolation
Let’s face it, isolation has a subtle way of slipping into our lives, often rooted in psychological reasons. It may arise from the sorrow of a fractured friendship, past traumas, the pain of abandonment, the emotional burden of divorce, or the overwhelming grief stemming from losing a loved one. These experiences in life can leave us feeling lonely, isolated, and disconnected from the world around us.
Isolation has many forms. Take a moment to see if any of these resonate with your own life:
- Cocooning within the comforting walls of your home, seeking refuge from the outside world.
- Feeling isolated within a crowd, where familiar faces seem like distant strangers.
- Retreating into the solitude of your bedroom, distancing yourself even from your own family.
- Losing yourself in video games or the endless scroll of social media.
- Turning to overeating as a shield against the pain of isolation.
These are just a few ways that people self-isolate and these types of coping skills are draining and leave us emotionally numb, withdrawn, and more times than not, depressed. But they do point to an underlying issue, unresolved trauma. Unresolved Trauma is where demons hide and can further deepen the isolation.
The Demonic Thread of Isolation
As an exorcist, I’ve had the sincere privilege of serving people and helping them break free from isolation. What is crystal clear to me is that isolation, for many, is not just a psychological battle. It has a spiritual dimension. It isn’t just the weight of past traumas or the scars of life that bear the blame; it’s also the presence of demons enslaving the person into hopeless isolation.
When these demons are confronted and expelled with the authority of Jesus Christ, the chains of isolation shatter. I have seen individuals who were once confined to their bedrooms for weeks, their hygiene neglected, sinking into the depths of depression, and even harboring suicidal thoughts, undergo a complete transformation. They are restored to fully functional individuals after going through an exorcism. The contrast is remarkable! It fills me with joy to see how Jesus Christ restores emotional health and well-being to His children.
Embracing Christ’s Promise for Your Life
It is important to heed the words of Christ: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV). These words clearly point out Christ’s mission on Earth. If you find yourself trapped by isolation, it is the thief, Satan, who is robbing you of life, causing destruction, and sowing seeds of despair. However, Christ is your lifeline—He offers an invitation to embrace a life that overflows with abundance.
The Path to Healing: Uniting Counseling and Exorcism
There is a path to healing and a way out of isolation. It is a journey that requires two components: counseling and exorcism. These practices complement each other, and one cannot entirely replace the other. Together, they form a powerful combination that can bring about deep transformation in your life, helping you break free from the chains of isolation.
Let me encourage you for a minute. Nurture a spark of hope—a yearning for freedom. Christ is ready to help you. Start your journey by booking an appointment for an exorcism with me which is a very important step in reclaiming your life from the chains of isolation. At the same time, let me encourage you to find a Christian counselor who can help you resolve the psychological aspects of isolation. In your pursuit of freedom from isolation, remember that you are not alone. There exists a path to healing, one paved with exorcism, counseling, and the unwavering promise of an abundant life offered by Jesus Christ.
Let’s Contemplate
- Write down three ways in which you isolate yourself.
- Dive deeper and examine the underlying causes of each instance of isolation. Is it rooted in past trauma, unresolved grief, or demonic torment? Take some time and journal about it.
- Have you sought counseling or therapy for these causes? Do you still struggle with isolation?
- Have you considered getting an exorcism to expel the demons enforcing your isolation? Write down your thoughts about getting an exorcism.

Hey Megan thanks for reading. It’s been my experience that many people suffer from isolation and it’s important that people understand that there is a way out. If you just stumbled across this post, please listen to John’s interview where he fully recovered from deep isolation via exorcism and counseling. 🙏
